pink easter eggs, dyed with beet juice
Description

I really wanted to get John one of those PAZ egg dyeing kits that we used as kids but I couldn't find any. This turned out to be just as fun!

Preparation time
30 minutes
Ingredients
12 hard boiled eggs
1 c beet juice
1 T white vinegar
Instructions

Really all you need to do here to make this work is to add some vinegar to beet juice before bathing the hard boiled eggs in it. I think the acid in the vinegar helps the pigment penetrate the shell.

Notes

Tumeric is supposed to work really well so that might be worth a shot as well.
