This is it, the best glazed ham recipe. It really doesn't get much better than this.
Remove ham from the fridge and let sit for 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
Whisk all glaze ingredients together in a saucepan and simmer on medium-low for 2 minutes or until melted together.
Partially wrap the ham in foil, then brush with 1/3 of the glaze. Wrap ham completely and place flat side down on a cast iron pan.
Bake until the center of the ham reaches 100-110 degrees (approximately 10-14 minutes per pound).
Remove ham and increase oven temperature to 400 degrees.
Unwrap ham and spoon juices over it, brush with 1/3 of the remaining glaze.
Bake uncovered until ham center reaches 140 degrees, approximately 20-30 minutes while basting all the while.
Finish with a quick broil for appearances and let sit 15 minutes before serving with plenty of glaze.
